About the Administrative Fellowship
The Administrative Fellowship at Children's Hospital New Orleans is a 12-month project-based experience designed to develop and grow future leaders, specifically in pediatric healthcare. This program offers an extraordinary opportunity to learn about the mission, vision, and values of Children's Hospital while working closely with the executive leadership team. The Fellow will spend the first month in an immersive orientation period to become familiar with the organization and identify areas of interest. After completing the orientation period, the Fellow will begin the project-based structure. The experience is tailored to the Fellow's areas of interest and needs of the organization. The Fellow will have the opportunity to contribute and lead a variety of projects in areas such as day-to-day operations, ambulatory care, strategic planning, community benefits, finance, and many more. This structure is intended to give the Fellow exposure across the entire organization to help develop skills necessary to be a transformational leader.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a CAHME accredited MHA, CEPH accredited MPH, or AACSB accredited MBA by the fellowship start date. The fellowship program can serve as the remaining requirement for the graduate degree if all didactic coursework has been completed prior to the fellowship start date.
