Children’s Hospital New Orleans announces capital campaign in support of the hospital’s $300 million campus transformation project and the advancement of pediatric healthcare for Louisiana’s children.
NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday, September 26, Children’s Hospital New Orleans celebrated the public launch of its capital fundraising campaign, named ‘Extraordinary Together: The Campaign for Louisiana's Children’.
The campaign will raise funds to support infrastructure, programming, and the expansion of the hospital’s signature service lines, allowing Children’s Hospital to continue to provide advanced pediatric healthcare for children across the state and region.
“With a $300 million campus transformation and capital campaign effort underway, we as a hospital and community are investing in the future of Louisiana’s children,” says John R. Nickens IV, President and Chief Executive Officer at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. “The transformation of our Uptown campus is not only improving infrastructure and technology, the enhancements we’re introducing will make it easier for patients and families across the region to access our vital services, and for our staff and providers to practice world class pediatric medicine.”
With a long tradition of serving children and families from across Louisiana and the Gulf South, Children’s Hospital is proud to provide the highest level of pediatric care to all kids and only kids. The hospital is working diligently to expand access to specialized pediatric healthcare for children and families throughout Louisiana and the Gulf South. Through investments in infrastructure, programs, people, and community programs, Children’s Hospital is working to improve the significant health challenges our kids and communities are facing.
