Children's Hospital New Orleans along with executive chef of Ralph's on the Park, Chip Flanagan, shared details about the 39th annual Sugarplum Ball with WVUE Fox 8 on Friday. This year's event, which is themed "A Night in Wonderland," will benefit the Heart Center at CHNOLA. The night will include local cuisine created by some of the city's most renowned chefs, such as Chip Flanagan himself. Guests will be able to partake in a silent auction and enjoy the whimsical decor during their evening escape to wonderland.
Living out our motto of providing "healthcare with heart," money raised from the Sugarplum Ball will allow us to provide treatment for patients with congenital and acquired cardiovascular disorders. Our new Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is doing just that by offering important improvements combined with utilization of state-of-the-art equipment and technology. The space now allows families the opportunity to sleep comfortably in the room with their loved ones as well as do their laundry by utilizing the new on-unit washer and dryer. In supporting us through the Sugarplum Ball, you're truly supporting our dedicated staff, patients, and their families during their stay in our Heart Center.
