The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Children’s
Hospital is involved in the care of all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology
including general ENT problems like recurrent ear infections and sleep
apnea in children as well as more complex treatments such as the management
of complex airway cases. We have pride in delivering care that is child
centered and family focused.
The providers specialize in open airway reconstruction in children; surgical
rehabilitation of hearing loss including cochlear implantation and bone-anchored
hearing aids; endoscopic sinus surgery; and management of complex pediatric
head and neck pathology, including congenital head and neck masses, pediatric
thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and management of head and neck vascular tumors.
The multispecialty clinics, including the Children's Hospital Diagnostic
Aerodigestive Team (DAT), the Tracheostomy Clinic, the Safe Trach Program,
Thyroid and Endocrine Clinic, the Cochlear Implant Team, and the Vascular
Anomalies Clinic offer comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for the
management of children with complex medical problems.
